This is a section of the Gruner Heritage that we have set aside
for the spouses of our 'founding fathers.' While not of Gruner blood
they contributed greatly to what we are today as Gruners.
They are "The Other Side" of our families and an important part of our heritage.
The first section is going to be about Benjamin Sam Gruner's wife, my
grandmother, Ellen White Fant- 1875 to 1961. It will cover as much as
we can learn of her life, which is also the heritage of her descendants
There are photographs of persons in the families, history of the places,
and things, that have enhanced our already rich heritage even more.
As each section is completed, you will have a better understanding of not
only who you are, but where all your roots came from. Not to lessen the
importance of the Franz von Gruner Heritage we all are so blessed to
have as Gruners, but to further enrich it with a history of families
unlike our German heritage, yet equally important in our lives.

to learn more about your "Other Side".
