Another somewhat embarrassing thing happened when my brother Walter had done some car repairs for me and in return I was to purchase a bottle of his favorite whisky from a local package store. I drove to the store and he stayed in the car while I went in to make the purchase. I was a little nervous because I didn't drink and felt a little guilty being in there.

As I returned to the car, I wasn't really paying close attention, I opened the door of the car and slid onto the drivers seat. when I turned my head to say something to Walter, there was a strange woman sitting in the passenger seat!

I immediately realized I had gotten into the wrong red car. One, the same model as mine, that I had not seen had parked in the store lot.

I hurriedly got out, making my apologies and went to my car where I was furious at Walter for not having warned me.

He was laughing too hard to even respond.

I was so thankful the woman's husband or friend didn't see this and that the woman didn't scream because I might not be here today to tell about it.
